Why does MN always do this to us? On the day’s we need to run long distances, the weather decides to be 70+ degrees and 90+ % relative humidity. Bah! Slow pace today but got it done!

Longest Run of My Life

So, for some strange reason today, I was bored this afternoon and started on a nice Saturday run. I had no objectives in mind when i started but after about the 7 mile mark, i decided i would try to achieve a goal. My longest run ever up until today was 8.2 miles. I was hoping for 10 today. I’m happy to report that i made it…alive, and mostly well. I am already sore and i’ve got to get my groove on tonight at a friends wedding!

Been having so many issues with distance running this spring. No idea what i did today but things went really well. Ran a good pace for the full duration without stopping. Maybe there is something to be said for PT and Steroids/Cortisone….
